But today, we’re thinking a few days further ahead. The end of the year brings with it one of our favourite holidays: New Year’s Eve! If you’ve already spent your holiday at our hotel with luxury spa in Austria over New Year’s Eve, you’ll know what we’re talking about. We throw a big celebration full of traditions and delicious treats.
Today, we’d like to share a simple recipe with you that makes a fantastic appetiser for a New Year’s Eve party: filled pastry puffs.
Take a roll of pre-prepared puff pastry, cut out discs (around 7-8cm in diameter), and bake them in the oven. Once cool, you can garnish the puffs with salmon and mayonnaise. Not a fan of fish? Then you could also use ham, ricotta, and rocket. And of course, if you prefer cheese, you can use your favourite sort and then sprinkle crushed pistachios on top. Give your imagination free rein!
